For this guide you need the following:
Suitable vehicle or engine simulator.
Cable connecting BB streamer to vehicle or engine simulator, i.e. one of the BB Y-Cables, e.g. LDVYCBL, D99Y or D66Y.
Serial to USB cable connecting BB streamer to laptop.
Laptop running Windows.
Instructions
Step 1:
Download Quicktester2.zipDownload the Quicktester software: http://dev.davranetworks.com/downloads/Quicktester2.zip
Step 2:
Extract files and run setup.exe
Step 3:
Download Quicktester2_0_19_Customer.exe: http://dev.davranetworks.com/downloads/Quicktester2_0_19_Customer.exeStep 4_ppp
Step 2:
Change file extension to .exe.
Step 3:
Connect the streamer and cables as required to the vehicle / engine simulator and your laptop.
Step 54:
Wait for Windows to discover the connected streamer or use the Device Manager to manually do so.
Step 65:
Run Quicktester2_0_19_Customer.exe downloaded in Step 3.
Step 76:
Configure the settings as required. Example screenshots below. Note: Enabling logging is mandatory for this to function properly.
